Dimensions is a 2d platform roguelike game that we created in Unity3d and published December on Steam. It has many unique bosses, weapons and levels that could each say could be its own game. My roles in this project were Game designer, level designer and combat designer. As a game designer we were able to plan as a team and document features though Google docs and Google sheets. Going though milestones, we created those features in the engine to work. We made action blocks for the feature to prove how fun they were with other mechanics. As a level designer I was able to create levels with our features that we themed around the bosses in the level. We introduced, practiced, and mastered every mechanic that was newly added to our level and mixed them together to create an engaging experience. As a combat designer I was able to create unique enemies and a boss for our game to give the player a challenge at the end of the level. The boss had its own phases and increasing in challenge as phases arose.
