Soul Thief by markspartan (itch.io)

Documentation: We used Jira Software to create a game design a document page and an art page.  

​

Level Design: I created maps for the levels in Artsy Draft 3 and blocked out the levels in the engine. 

​

Score System: I created a scoring system that tracks what the player has done at a specific level. This includes time completed level, enemies killed, collectibles obtained, and more. 

 

Enemies: I created enemies ground and flying enemies that can be killed to increase the runner's speed. 

​

Maze/Touch switch System: Created a lever system that can be touched by the phone screen. The touch gives the player the option to open paths or unlock paths in a maze. 

​

Checkpoint and Saving system: Created a simple saving system that works on mobile devices. 

​

Pixel Art Creation: Designed some of the pixel art in the game which involved tilesets, background assets, and enemies.

Soul thief was originally a Game Jam game that converted into a project for mobile. The game is a 2D platformer game that gives the player another chance at life.
